Welcome to the Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre (COLC) Activities Blog. Activities are a big part of our school program, with various organised things to do each afternoon.
Over the next few months this blog will introduce to many of our activities and the people who bring them to you.. We will use lots of archive photos so if you have been to our school, or know someone who has, there just may be a photo of someone you recognize somewhere.

Cave Cruzer




The Cave Cruzer is a commercial boat trip that operates out of Whitianga. Our normal trip with these guys is to head across to the northern side of Mercucy Bay and into the Waitaia Cave. This is a large cave that the boat can easily enter. It is a musical trip and the tour operator plays several different instruments inside the cave where they really sound great.

When numbers allow we will split the group, and half will take the boat while the rest take a bush hike in to a nearby beach. The two groups then swap over on the beach and both get to enjoy the whole experience.
